Norton Ghost Corp Ed.

I have Norton Ghost Corp Ed. installed as my W2K ghost server. After installing an update patch I recieve the following error:

INSERT INTO Machine(ID, Identifier, HDriveNo, RequestedVersionID, SnapshotCookie, CurrentVersionID, SubnetID, NetPciIcs, DosTemplateName, asGhostBootPartition) VALUES (?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?):23000 [Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]Integrity constraint violation: Primary key for table 'Machine' is not unique

Can anyone give some insight into this error?

This link is about as useful as a chocolate teapot but explains that Symantec know about the problem but don't know how to fix it. It is dated 09/10/02:
