Our company running a Nortel meridian 81c is merging with another compnay using a Avaya Definity. Can anyone note how it went when making these two talk?

Thanks,
Brian

QSIG is the protocol you should be using i have installed links between meridian and avaya on sevral sites, without too much hassle

Elwormo,

I have the same issue I have an option 81 c that will soon be talking to the Avaya. Did you have any issues with your dialing plan ?

i've never had a dial plan issue with a avaya that was unique to that product, but both post are right, with qsig it's a clean drop in.. msg lamps etc,

I assume this scenario was using channelized T1s. Has anyone out there done this with IP trunks?
