Hello all,
I have a Nortel phone system that I'm having some issues with. First off, I'm not really much of a Nortel person so my experience is a little limited.
I have a phone system that was installed by a company - which is no longer in business.
We have a punchdown block with 3 phone lines on it, which is attached to the phone system. When they first installed it, they only ran 2 phone lines into the phone system.
My question is, how to I program the system/phones to accept the 3rd line from the block?
Also, they're reporting that when someone calls in on the main number, it sometimes doesn't ring on the phones at all.. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
I have a spare phone system in my office that I have been playing with, but I can't figure out how to get it to accept the 3rd line and how to put it on the soft buttons.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
