System won't start. Numerous patch initialization errors, and cycles constantly. Can start cold and use Control I to get restore options, but then it can read backup files on the flash card.
Latest - Installed a spare daughterboard, and switch appears to come up. Restored archived database and all is there. None of the peripheral cards enable, however, and the link to Meridian Mail is refused. LD 43 shows NO GO BAD DATA with an EDD112.
First, Do you HAVE 25.40b on a PCMCIA card? If you DO NOT, then DO NOT do the following until you have it.
Second, Do you HAVE a Backup or Archive on a PCMCIA card? If you DO NOT, then DO NOT do the following until you have it,
or you are going to have to hand build the system from scratch.

Follow the directions from there to test and Erase the board.
Also, Update the SCC firmware.

When you installed spare card, did you reload software and keycodes or just restore Database.
If just restored database - you will need to Archive a backup, boot from PCMCIA card with 25.40b software on it, reinstall software and re-enter keycodes, restore archive and patches and reboot into service.
