Nortel NTDU92 Wireless Headset Configuration

Configuration: (Plantronics) wireless headset is connected to the HEADSET port on the NTDU92 IP phone, Headset is activated (linked), and Headset button on phone is selected, wireless connection is made. But if you try to end the call by selecting the Call Control on the headset, the Headset link is broken, and the Phone switches to Speaker Phone mode instead of ending call. You must manually select the End Call button on the phone to hang up. Is there a way to program the phone so it will end call when Call Control on the headset is selected to end the link?
