Nortel Networks - Option 11 CS1000 - Changing PREF and SREF

I keep getting the error message of "Must disable the existing clock controller and remove the clock data
before doing any clock controller changes. (For System Option 11 only)" when I attempt to change the PREF in LD 73.

I have disabled the existing clock controller however, I do NOT know what the system means by "remove the clock data".

not sure what you are trying but if for example you currently have clock card on T1 card loop 1 and your primary clock is 1 and your secondary clock is 2.

And if you were say getting rid of loop 1 so needed you clock on 2 you would need to do the following:

Disable both loops 1 and 2
Disable Clock

CLKN <cr>
PREF x
SREF x

ld 73
xhg
ddb
CLKN 2
Pref 2

Move the physical card

enable Clock
enable loop 2
