Nortel Meridian Option 11c ld143 password 1

Greetings all,

Can someone out there lend a hand in figuring out the default, if any, password for the ld1143 command? I inherited the system and was only privy to the login and mail password. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

XSL is to reload the system, I have never tried it, have you trued your level 2 password?

Yes, we are attempting to soft boot the system and I have never attempted that way prior. I was taught to flip the silver switch to power down the system. I was only given the logi and the ax passwords and those do not work.

Buddy, is there a default password? Or is there a way to recover the password? I am not too technical with phone system I do confess.

The only way I have ever remotely rebooted a system is through PDT, I know we cant share password recovery procedures although it seems to come up about once a week. If the system has been changed from the default passwords you can have a vendor recover them for you.

[Firebird Scrambler]

The XSL system reboot will only work in LD 43 for the Option 11, 11e & in LD 143 for the 11c processors. It's not available for the larger Option 51 to 81 platforms.

For all systems that have "pdt" access, you can use a command to carry out a full reset.
