Does anyone know of a program I can use to export Nortel phone user data from a Opt. 11 for a conversion to Cisco IP (Call Manager) ? We currently have OTM.

I need to pull as much data as possible. IE: CPND, Line 1 DN, other key assignments including add-on modules, Intercom and call pick-up data.

Thanks. JimC-

no, GH has a good sugestion but the keystrokes still have to be done.. you can script that but not unless your exterienced with aspect scripting..

Thanks guys. there must be an import/export tool out there I can use to pull the phone data out of Nortel and populate the Cisco BAT spreadsheet to create the new IP sets in Call Manager. I will continue my search.

Thanks again Jimeec-

Big question here is why would anyone want to go to a CISCO system when Nortel IP is superior.

My co merged with another- they had Cisco and I had Nortel. The other side won...

Let us know which you like after running with the Cisco. I've heard pros and cons about Cisco Telephony but have never used or had to maintain it as of yet.

I've been involved with both and the in my experience the Nortel has been far more stable and reliable. We had a Nortel site that ran for 2+ years with only one bad M2007 set. It failed because someone spilled coffee on it. I do have to admit that I am baised toward Nortel, but features, performance, and reliability of their product puts CISCO to shame. I do have no issues with the CISCO networks though.
