Due to the recent Hurricane, we lost power for several days and our entire Meridian 1 system went black. Everything came back up fine, but of course the companion sets had to be re-activated using the UTAM recovery keys. (By the way, the number to get these keys is 1-800-4-NORTEL, option 1, then use ERC 2236. You will need your site ID/System ID and Companion ID and Zip Code)
I called in the codes and entered them into the system just like I always did. (under "software keys" in the admin). System said "entry sucessful" and then I went into Feature 915, put in my password, then drilled down to Channel Status, show, all. I don't know why you have to do this, but I've always been told to do it. Normall always works from here.
Right now, the phones have the signal indicator, BUT THEY DO NOT GRAB A LINE FROM THE PHONE SYSTEM. They say "connection failed" when you try and make a call. What did I do wrong? Do I need to do something else? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help...
