I have a customer with a MICS system behind Centrex lines. They have multiple other sites connected with the Centrex (it is a school system). They want to add auto attendant in the admin bldg (not full voice mail, just call handling). Can Call Pilot or NorstarVM be setup to transfer to Centrex lines in a dial bynumber setup? Meaning, can a caller dial a 5 digit number for a remote school and be transferred to that school? They have way more Centrex lines and single line sets than norstar sets.

Not that I know of, only transfer out of the system is through a mailbox set up with one number per mailbox they would have to acces a mailbox and then press 7 to get transfered out again.

They won't be able to dial the 5-digit number but can do it through a singel digit. Just set up the 5-digit number of the school as the destination in the transfer node.
