We have a Nortel 81C with 6 network groups. Yesterday morning the sytem started generating ERR5425 codes. (Buffer to the PRI (QPC720) hardware has overflowed.) The T1 circuits involved are not QPC720 cards, they are DDP cards. Additionally, callers are complaining they are getting dead air when they try to call out on these T1 circuits. I disabled T1 loops 110&111 and unseated the card. Now the errors (err5425) are being generated against T1 loops 108&109. Any ideas on how to correct this problem.

are you killing those t1's completly? is so remove all the software related to those pri's. those errors are caused because you are still sending calls to those trunks. in ld 21 ltm will give you the routes, ld 86 prt rlb will give you the rli's that are pointed to those routes. change the entries that ref that route. don't worry if you don't fix it, the switch will go down, and more then likely stay down until it is fixed.. sorta like a windows machine with way to many popups.. ini ini ini ini ini cold restart. i wouldn't make any real large changes until it's fixed, your ram has to be maxxed out
