Nortel 61 C History not printing fully

Hi folks,

when I print my history in LD 22 PHST it starts to print then it starts printing "type" "type" then it locks up my TTY port.

What can I do to stop this strange issue?

"Error means" SCH0600
Illegal input character.

phst will only print what has happened since your last print. AHST will prt all still in the file

Hi Buddy, it does the same thing with AHST; I should have mentioned that.

Seen this a lot of times when you are printing something long and narrow. You could try changing the flow control settings on your terminal or PC terminal/modem settings.

The data is coming out faster than the buffer can store it. Try changing your baud rate down to 9600 or below. Some terminals just cant keep up with 9600 or higher. 2400 or 1200 should work just fine.

I am getting this error via Procomm Plus connecting via ip address. The TTY port I am connecting to is;

ADAN TTY 1
CTYP QSDI
DNUM 1
DES TERMINAL
FLOW NO
USER MTC SCH BUG
XSM NO
TTYLOG 0
BANR YES

I am not sure where to change the BAUD rate since there are no BAUD paramaters in the PBX TTY 1 or on my Procomm terminal.

The baud rate is set on the card with dip switches

How are you connecting to tty 1 with an IP address? TTY 1 shows it is on a QSDI which is more than likely a paddle board.

IP via and ION modem connected to an SDI port.

On the dip switch I was hoping that would not be an option; as Homer would say "DOH!

You would have to change the baud rate in the ION modem also.
