Is there a method to configure Norstar Remote Utilities to work with Windows Vista?

I've got NRU 11 working on one of my Windows XP computers, but it was a job to do!. I kept getting the same error message about the 16 bit functionality not working in a DOS environment?.

Hmmm - I wonder if I must have a higher version? I have installed NRU on a few XP computers and never had a problem - total time was a few minutes to unpack, install and reboot. I don't have any vista PCs in the field to try. I don't recall even needing to do any compatibility settings or anything. Just make sure I'm logged on the machine as a local admin.

These computers are at remote branches of our company and they have RADs plugged into the com port. I use VNC to connect to the pc and run the remote utitlities and it works like a charm.

If anyone thinks it's important I'll log in to one and check my version.

Darn this not being able to edit a post! My version on all my XP machines is NRU 8.1

Can an admin move this whole thread to the Norstar forum? Or should I just stop posting in it here? ;-)
