nontransferable burned cds

i know this isnt rare, but i dont know the solutions;

new sony cdrw, sonys software,B's, makes excellent data,pic,etc, burned cdrws as long as ur on same machine...
id like to download/run these cds on diff systems..is there a solution?

you have to finalize/close the session.
try the help function of your burning program
if you use some "drag and drop burning" program (copy files directly to the cdrw in explorer type of thing), i believe you have to have that prog installed on any computer that is to read from the cd

this is just suggestions, don't try any of it if you don't know what youre doing, you have no guarantee that i do

A CDRW disk can only be read in the most modern "multi-read" CD-ROM readers.

CDRW or even CD-R disks written with the 71xx range of
rewritable drives will not read data reliably on most "normal" CD-ROM
drives found in millions of PC's. Makes owning a CD-R(W) drive a bit
pointless if you cannot distribute disks you author to colleagues or
friends and have any certainly they will be readable by "standard"
computer systems!

thanks to both of you, with your aid what ive found it that this software says it can be read on any cdrom, after closing as thegrey said, but in another place it states they cant be read without same software installed on other machine.

so im thinking, get new software, roxio? any advice?

I am using nero same as roxio and it is the same way so I don't think it will help, I'm in the process of trying to fix the same problem
