In DW, how to make links that are in plain text rather than graphic images and change colour on rollover but to not underline on rollover in a browser?

By creating an external style sheet(css) you can pretty well do what you want, e.g. remove decoration from the 'a' tag site wide (that means no underline), or change background color on mouse over.

OK. Have figured out CSS (a bit...) and have created a CSS that I can apply to my site, but I cannot figure out how to set the style that controls the mouse-over colour for a link. (a:?). Can you enlighten me some more?

open your style sheet and set the properties for a:hover...background color to get a rollover effect.
