Given the recent debate on using non-Microsoft SQL Backup Tools, I thought I'd post a link to an interesting article I found regarding benchmark tests from 3 major competitors. Of course, this doesn't change the fact that Microsoft's included backup tools are free (they come with the software) and easy to use. But if you were looking into the various 3rd party tools and wanted to know the "truth behind the benchmarking", here's the article to read.
