Non-Existent Performance Counters

Hi,

I have no performance counters in my Windows 2000 server at work. I've done some research on the web and tried everything I can think of.

First off, after reading several articles on technet I have reinstalled SP4. I have also installed run the exctrlst.exe from the resource kit and enabled all counters but I still cannot see them when I go to Add a counter from within Performance Monitor.

Can someone please help me as I need this to work ASAP. Any help would be much appreciated.
