I have a Nokia IP330 (ipso 3.3) and ran thru the initial install. However after entering the hostname, ip address, netmask, etc. I cannot connect via Voyager but I can ping the interface successfully. I also tried using lynx over the console but I get the following error: 'can't access startfile I've deleted the config/active file and reinstalled a couple times to make sure I didn't enter anything invalid but same problem. The hosts file has an entry for localhost with ip address 127.0.0.1 but I received the same error whether using localhost or ip address. I also trid using telnet on port 80 and I don't even get connected so it's more than just apache missing a default page. Since it's a new install Checkpoint isn't running and blocking any traffic either.

Can anyone tell me how to verify that apache is up, running and listening on port 80? Other suggestions/ideas?

I figured this out and thought I'd update in case anyone else ever runs into the problem.

The apachectl script which starts httpd (the web server) had the user to it. However that user must have been deleted. I recreated the account with the ipso dbset command and only then was able to successfuly start the apache daemon. Afterwards, I was able to use Voyager.
