I need to change the Ip address on the Cha-node-names - ip page. Unable to do this I get an error saying must busy-out all associated signaling groups.

1.How do I find all the associating signaling groups?
2.I tried unplugging the c-lan card, busy out the c-lan.

Any help would be appreciated.

list sig" for signalling groups, busy out the one used.
It will prbably be an H323 or SIP trunk, FYI.

Then do a "list ip-int all", and find the one you want to change the node name on. Then do a "change ip-interface 01A05" (for example), then where it shows "Enable Ethernet Port?" stroke that to a "n", then hist F3, or save the page. You will now be able to change the IP address of the node-name. One more thing, if you have that node-name referenced in the "IP Services" ("change ip-services"), you will need to remove that temporarily, then put it back when you are done. once you change the node-name, do the "change ip-interface 01A05" and re-enable the ethernet port.

I have the list signaling command and is a h323, how ever i do not have the list-ip-int-all or change change-ip services. Would i do a change signaling group 3 to enable or disable the ethernet port?

busy sig 3"

If you don't have dadmin or DS1 MSPs (Maint Service Permissions), you won't be able to busy it. You can call your AVAYA Business Partner, or, do this:

print out the signalling group
print out the trunk group

remove the members from the trunk group (change trunk x), then remove the signalling group. Now go ahead and change your IP address, and now reverse the prceedure (add signalling group, and then put the members back in it)

if you do a "list config all", and you have TN799DP CLANs, then you should be able to do a "change ip-interface 01xxxx"
