I have a very dense report. It is showing where data problems exist and is trying to show as many pieces of information as possible on a line.
I have already reduced the font size to 8 point. There are some fields that are good for reference, but too long to fit in the space allowed. I don't want to generate extra lines to display the whole field.
What I am trying to do is display as much of the field as will fit. Word wrapping sometimes causes most of the line to be wrapped due to a long word. I thought about substringing the field because I know that no more than 14 'W' will fit but with proportional fonts you might be able to fit 25 characters from one record and 16 from the next.
Any Suggestions?
TIA
