We use Microsoft Office 97. We do not use exchange server for email (use a program called VOP mail). We recently changed our isp and upgraded to a full T1. problem is....

Several of our coworkers try and send a Word doc by opening Word, clicking on File -> Send To -> Mail Recipient. When they send to an email address inside the company the message is delivered, however when they send the message to an outside email address the email is returned to the sender with the message "No Transport Provider Was Available For...."

The email IS configured properly. If the coworker opens Outlook and attaches the doc to a new email and sends to an outside address, the message is delivered.. it is only when they try and send from Word that the problem arises.

Other people with the new dns settings can email just fine, just a few people can't. Problem peole are running Win 98se + service paks. We have other 98 machines that can email just fine. Works fine for Win 2000 and XP.

please help? can't find anything on the net that helps.
