Hello Everyone,

Can someone help me out on this issue? I'm running Legato 6.1.1 build 238 on Solaris 8. Everytime when i try to label, mount, or anything else it give me this popup saying "No such file or directory".
Any help or suggestion would greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I assume you use an (advanced) file type device as backup media. Did you delete the directory accidentally?

Thanks for you help!

Well, we're using exabyte tape backup device.
The directory is still there, I can see all the legato files in the directory.
Thanks

I was not thinking about the NW files but the device file, /dev/rmt/0?bn in your case. I assumed that this was a file device which is obviously not tru.

One a NW device has been created, it is ready for use. As NW does not need any file to be present to be able and label a media the only reason i can think of is that you specified the device name wrong, especially when you did this from the command line. Try to use the GUI to avoid typos.
