Hi Guys,

Did you ever encountered after updating your windows thru MS site or other softwares, after rebooting the sound device became shadowed and stated "No sound device". This PC is using integrated sound chip onboard. Before updating, the volume can be adjusted and sound are being outputed from the LCD speakers. Now everything had became soundless world. Thanks.

Remove the sound adapter from Device Manager, restart, let Windows recognize it and reload its drivers.

If no luck, then the sound adapter's drivers may have been corrupted.
See if reinstalling them helps.

If not, then check the computer's or MB manuf's site for updated drivers.

Thanks ski. Will try it out.
