I am using Adobe Premiere 6.0 on a pc with the pinnacle dc2000 card. When encoding anything, coming in from the pinnacle junction box, it does encode the video and audio, however when I pull over the file from the bin to the timeline, and play it from the timeline, I can't hear the audio. If I just play it from the bin I hear the audio though, and if I save the file and open it in Quicktime or Media Player I hear the audio. In fact, I can even see the audio waves in the timeline! As far as I can tell I have all the settings correct, but if anyone has any ideas as of something to try (even if it seems like something obvious) let me know. I have re-installed Premiere several times as well as everything else (Windows, all apps, drivers, everything...) to try to fix this. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated though, cause I'm a computer technician and not a video editor (in other words I don't know much about premiere).
Thanks alot,
