Hi I justed got two new IP Phone 4610SW. I installed them, everything work. (I can call, receive call, when I boot it it download everything, etc) but when it finish is sequence, Nothing appear on the sreen. I have IPO412, with 2.1(31)installed.

Did someone ran into this before?

well nevermind guys, I found it... I just upl;oad the last firmware :)

Question, how can you tell if there will be a reboot on a phone ? Can you setup some type of firmware upgrade at a certain time ?

We upgraded some of the 4610 phones from 2.1.1 to 2.2.3

Any advise.

Hi,

I just got 3 4610SW phones - they at first had no display so I upgraded the firmware on one phone - this worked fine until I tried setting up the other two phones - no go. Now I have switched the phones around and none of them have a display - they all work - but the displays are blank.

Any input would be appreciated.

To make all the phone boot, make sure you are using a tftp server, if you don't have any, leave the manager open at all time. Make sure the 46xxxupgrade.txt and 46xxxupgrade.scr it's available and all the .bin files.

You can always reset the phone with the folowing key combinasion: HOLD+73738 (reset). Finaly, the IP phones work well only with version 3.0 (3.0.44) the last one. If you still running version 2.1, you'll get a screen, but you won't be able to label the key on the screen, and lot's of other options will not works.

I forget... Make sure that you program to phone correctly, to point fileSrv adress point to the tftp server:)

Im also playing why if i reboot it says extension in use.
I no its there because the phone is registered.
But i don,t want it to say every time something happens extension in use.
