Hi,
I have a page with a form and all the info typed is saved into a mySQL db, however there is large text area and the format is getting all messed up.
is there any way to capture all the hard returns so the format is at the user typed it?
Thanks,

sbayter

Here's a guess:
The question is how do you look at the formatting?
Whenever you use an HTML based viewer you need to remember that HTML is not whitespace specific. It does not care about multiple spaces, tabs, newlines etc.
Look at the source and see how it is formatted.

If you want to output the text just as is enclose it in <pre>...</pre> tags.

Also, look at the options for wrapping in the HTML specification for the <textarea> tag.
