no remote mailbox login

I have a MICS 7 with a PRI and Cp100. I can remotely log into mailbox 3735 with the password. I cannot login to general mailbox or admin mailbox 1000 or 1002. The passwords are correct, on site logins work properly. The CP100 says the mailbox combination is not recognized every single time. So box 3735 works, but 1000 or 1002 don't. I am missing something?

This is a voip pri over 4 bonded t1s from telepacific. Call the carrier?

Make sure both have normal passwords.
1020000 wont work
1021234 will work

Not sure about 1000 though..

both have real passwords: 5678

Check the COS. Both are 7 and I think by default remote log in is disallowed.

I changed 1002 to cos 1 to be sure. Nope. I even dial super slowly * * 1 0 0 2 5 6 7 8 #

In GUI go to Mailbox Admin/100/Change and De-select "Enable Mailbox Restrictions"

Do same for 102

checked COS 7 and nothing about remote login. Nothing about "Enable Mailbox Restriction" either? this is a 2.0 cp100

Only thing is remote initialization (Y/N) but I've initialized both boxes.

maybe a reboot?

Are those 2 MB's using Norstar or Callpilot interface?
