No outgoing mail 1

i have a Virtual SMTP server with windows 2003 sp1 and exchange 2003 sp2.
Everything worked fine, now i have de issue that all messenges stays in the queue.
Receiving emails works fine.

have looked several issues but cant seem to solve it.

at first glance, it sounds like a DNS issue. can you do an nslookup on any of the "stuck" domains?

All telnet to port 25 are working find also fron internal and from externail computer to mail.domain.com

i am receiving this event in the system

SMTP could not connect to any DNS server, looks like the Virtual SMTP server cannot contact external servers?
any work around

do you have any smarthosts configured, or have you configured any DNS server addresses in the properties of the virtual SMTP server? Or are you just using the DNS on the server itself? can you get to the internet from the mail server?

Issue solve, Exchange nslookup to internet not available. ISA Server Protocol Rule blocking DNS port 53 rule.
