No one on other end

Hi,

We have an intermittent problem with our ip phones. The phone rings and when we pick it up there is nothing there, however,the person phoning continues to here the phoning ring out. The person who is being phoned replaces the receiver and picks it up again and then they can hear the person at the far end. Has anyone came across this before?
