Is it possible not to dial a 9 when accessing a trunk? This is what my customer wants. Thanks a lot.

Yo can dial the TAC - Trunk Access Code, but you need dial access set to Y on the trunk form

I want such that, I can dial the number right away after i go off hook. Instead of dialing 93xxxxx, I would sial directly 3xxxxx. Im using IP phone. Is it possible? Thanks a lot.

If you are in the US and require 11 digit dialing. Set your ARS access code to 1. Then tell all the users to 11 digit dial 1 201 555 1212.

you could program an autodial button with the nine.

If your customer has an analog phone, then you can set up a HOT LINE destination to a abbreviated list, where DIAL CODE 99:9 (or DIAL CODE 99: XXX (TAC).

ABBREVIATED DIALING
List1: system List2: group 1 List3: personal 1

HOT LINE DESTINATION
Abbreviated Dialing List Number (From above 1, 2 or 3): 1
Dial Code: 99

Just consider doing this, user cannot dial any extension when off hook.

If user has a digital or ip phone set, It´s just not possible to do.

This CAN be done....but its not fun to manage. you can use UDP to make ARS conversions so you dont have to dial a 9. i usually use this to enable 4 digit dialing to other PBX's using the PSTN. what are your ranges of extensions and what release are you? there are some limitations.
