No LPT and Com Ports

Hello,

Following problem:
When I want to add a new printer and the screen comes up where you have to select a port, the list is empty ? No lpt , com ports and even no file print port. I have a LPT port installed and two comports which are all listed in device manager as installed and ok. How is this possible and how can I get my ports listed ?
