I set up a domain on a 2000 Advanced server machine. I have two 2000 Pro machines that I was able to log on to the domain with. I could not access shares from the 2000 Pro machines with either 2000 Pro machines. The server was able to access these shares though. It kept saying that there was no logon server available to service this logon request or something similar to this. I checked share permissions, security settings, etc. and could not gain access to these shares. I then started playing with the certificate services on the 2000 Pro machines and although I didn't make any changes I was then able to gain full access to these shares and no longer got the error. One computer was able to receive a certificate from the server and the other wasn't though this was after I gained access. I'm don't know why I couldn't access these shares or what happened that I was finally able to. If you can give me any insight into this or need any additional info I would greatly appreciate it.
I had no problems accessing these shares when the Pro machines where part of the same workgroup

This has nothing to do with may other post on internet connection sharing
