No 'Live Console' on Domino Server

Hi All,

I just migrated my Domino server from NT to a new W2K server. There was no upgrade to Notes, it stayed at 4.6.7 for now.

I don't get the normal messages on the Console screen anymore. It only tells me the number of transactions/minute and the number of users.

The information that normally displays on the Console does get written to the Notes Log DB.

Maybe it's time to upgrade your Domino server. We were running 5.0.8 and have upgraded to 5.0.9a on Win2K servers.
The domino console looks fine.

One thing you will find though is that the console does not show up in a terminal server session.

We're planning an upgrade to R5 in the near future. But that is not the issue here. The issue is how/why the console isn't displaying the corrent information. I need a solution for R4.6.7

We are not using any terminal service applications at this time.

it might be a good idea to consider upgrading to r6 instead of r5.
there's been quite a few improvements that should make it worth your while, plus the fact that the end of life for R5 is sometime next year. see :
