Just installed Windows Me on a computer connected to a Windows NT 4.0 Server. The problem is when I boot up, it goes directly to desktop without an intervening network Logon screen. The Start Menu has "Log Off (blank)." I have to log off the blank user before I get the Enter Network Password dialog. I have checked the Client for Microsoft networks Properties and I have Logon to Windows NT domain checked and the name of the domain in the domain field. It's probably something simple, but I can't think of it. Anyone out there got any suggestions?

This has been noted before in these forums - don't know if definitive answer available, but one suggestion is that its a speed thing. First time you boot machine, it gets to logon before machine has picked up an IP address - so ME thinks its not on a network. By the time you've logged off, it has, so you get the correct network logon prompt.
