No imcoming ringtone lg 7024d

Hi .Since i had the electric disconnected due to problems my lg nortel ldp-7024d will not ring on incoming calls...Switchboard lights up orange instead of red..if i press the light on the incoming call i can answer it and have a conversation as normal..But it doesnt ring their end either when they make the call to me
Also the station name is 10 now and was 100 not sure if this makes a difference

.Anyone know about this type of system and could give some advice on this problem ...Thankyou ....Rhurbarb

It seem that your database of the LG telephones system has gone faulty. If your phone number used to be xxx and is now 100, the database has gone back to the default value and you will have to call the technician that prgrammed it to come back and re-program it.
The databse can go back to default after a power loss, because the internal battery is dead, or because the installation techician has forgot to enable this battery.

I thought that might be the case....Cant get hold of the engineer as the company went bust....Hmmm looks like il have to get new phones not good..Thanks for the rapid reply doktor ..appreciate it

What country are you in?

You can google "LG-Nortel service England" if your country is England and find some dealers in that way.

Buying new phones wil NOT help. You need to get your telephone system reprogrammed - an the backup secured.
This will take 1-3 hours for a skilled engineer.

Anyway, what type of system do you have?
Have a look on the system box, or dial [TRAN/PGM] + 72 and post the result here...
