No data shown in Access Page, but Query is okay.

My Access Page is coming up without any records for me to scroll through, although the query it's based on has just over 20 records in it. What's causing this? (Not sure if it's relevant - but the query is an aggregate query).

I tinkered with it a bit and discovered the following:

I've got two criteria in the query. When I take one out but leave the other in, the data shows on the Page; of course, it's more data than what I really want. The criteria I removed was a Like statement with a wildcard character (*).

I can use Like statements, so long as I leave out the *. Can anyone help explain this?

Does anyone have a fix for this? I'm having the exact same problem, thanks in advance ;)

Thanks for replying, grnzbra. Unfortunately, Like("*") did not work.

To clarify, the query works fine. It returns the records I want. I can open the query object in the Database Window and see the records are all there. The Data Access Page (that is based on this query) does not show any records, though.

I don't remember what I was trying to put together at the time (Sept 2003), but just today (May 2004) I put together a test query and DAP and had the same issue again.
