This is where it is in Windows 2000, should be similar in NT4.
To require pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE before logging on
Open Users and Passwords in Control Panel.
Click the Advanced tab.
In Secure Boot Settings, click Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete before logging on.
Perhaps I wasn't descriptive enough with my question. When the wksta boots up to the point where there SHOULD be a CNTL+ALT+DEL prompt ...it stops. It doesn't continue to a useable desktop. The C+A+D prompt simply doesn't come up so a normal logon is not accessable.
It could be a corrupt msgina.dll file. Try swapping it for one off an NT CD. If the drive is FAT you can do this by booting off a DOS disk. If it's NTFS the easiest way is to slave the drive in another PC.
