Really odd issue guys. The remote phone is going over two sonicwall's and can make normal 7-10 digit calls but inter-office calls to their extensions yield no audio either way. How is this even possible if regular calls work fine? Is a different protocol used for internal calls that the sonicwall might be blocking?

The real fix is giving the handsets the correct gateway to reach each other directly, the workaround is disabling it :)

I think I know what it is, just not sure how to resolve it yet. The sonicwall VPN tunnels to the main network at the office which is 192.168.0.X the phone system is using LAN2 for internal office phones 192.168.43.X and is tagged VLAN 100 on all switches. So the remote phone can only communicate on LAN1 where all office phones are on LAN2. Need to figure out how to get the remote phone routed to the right VLAN. Explains why it can make external calls without a problem.

The router(s) should be configured to route between the VLANs, it's nothing unusual :)

Sorry amriddle01 I skimmed right over your post thinking it was a networking issue. DMP was enabled and I have since turned it off. Waiting on customer to test.

DMP fixed the issue, thx all. I'll follow the KISS rule more closely next time ;)

Disabling DMP only masks the networking issue. If your network is configured correctly so that all packets can flow directly between the endpoints, you should be able enable DMP and have audio.
