NO ASA/DXD CARD msg won't go away!

In the process of trying to program my LUCENT phone last week, I somehow got the message NO ASA/DXD CARD on my display and it won't go away. It's where the date should be, above the time readout. How the heck do I get this to go away so that the date shows again?!

You must have programmed a feature that can only work with the ASA/DXD card or someone took the card out of the system. Check that the programming you did does not require the card and check that the card if you had one was not removed. If you need one contact any lucent vendor. Or go to ebay. they have them on there every once in a while.

If your phone defalts to an intercom button and you dialed 891 or 892 without dialing a 9 1st and you don't have an ASA/DXD card, THAT would cause the message to appear.
in order to get rid of the message hit Feature 0 0 from ext 10 or 11 then hit the left intercom button twice then hit # 728 when nobody is on the phone system because this will reset the entire system, and you won't loose any information.
