No Announcements

How do I trouble shoot my announcement board.
All of a sudden I cannot hear any of the announcements on my VAL board. I tested the board and busy & released it. If I try to dial the announcement number I hear dead air. If I try to re-record the announcement I hear nothing.
Could my board still be bad?

had this one, try reseating the board physically. i mean, take it out, let it cool for half a minute and insert it back. i guess something can make a board totally insane, so that even 'reset board' nor 'reset val' doesn't help.
at least, it helped me one or two times.
