I wanted to give the switchboard wizard a try, so I went to "Tools - Add-ons." The Add-ons box was empty, the folder's empty. I tried repairing, re-installing, then removing and re-installing Access. I set it up to install all the available Access options. Still nothing in the Add-ons folder. Anybody have a clue what's going on?

I have never seen this. Have you checked out the knowledge base for such a phenomenon. Also, if you have the developer edition (of office xp) you are entitled to unlimited support from them...

Yes, I did check the "help" on my system, but I'll try the online knowledge base. I don't have tech support on this anymore.

Found it! Thanks for the pointing me in the right direction, though I'm surprised no one else has had this problem. The Help topics is incorrect on this. It tells you to look for the Switchboard Manager in the Add-ons list, but it's been moved.

RESOLUTION
The Switchboard Manager now appears on the Database Utilities submenu on the Tools menu. To start the Switchboard Manager:

On the Tools menu, point to Database Utilities .

Click Switchboard Manager.

MORE INFORMATION
The following utilities, located on the Add-Ins submenu in earlier versions, have also been moved to the Database Utilities submenu in Microsoft Access 2000:

The Linked Table Manager

The Database Splitter

The Upsizing Wizard
