I'm working on a G3V6i and we are having some odd problems. The receptionist will get 2-4 calls on hold and then they will all disappear from the console and be conferenced amongst themselves. There isn't much pattern to it and it never happens when I'm watching. I wanted to run some tests on it but the test command doesn't seem to exist for my login. I am logging in as cust and am listed as a super-user. Any idea why?

You probably don't have maintenance service permissions for your user name.

Try logging in with the DADMIN credentials. The default password can be found on the Net through a google search.

Who do I contact to get the password? I googled a bit but didn't find it. If someone would like to email it to me you can find my address by googling for my name.

We upgraded a reception desk to an 8434 and the receptionist was accidentally hitting the conference button until we put a plastic cap over it. maybe?

take two of these and call me in the morning

I keep accusing her of hitting conference but she swears that she isn't. For one instance she was training a temp and they were both watching the buttons and she definitely hit transfer.

I found the dadmin request form on the business partner site and have faxed that in. We'll see what the testing reveals.

Disconnect the phone for 5 minutes and plug it in again.
Call Avaya Account Executive.if u have maintenance, and pay $100 bucks to have maintenance permissions turned on.
Is she using a 302 console and is so does she hit the 'start' key to put someone on hold. What key is she hitting?

She has an 8432 but manually hits Transfer and then dials the numbers. They don't have support on it, it hasn't had support for many years.
