NK2 File Missing

Hi

We use Outlook 2003 in Exchange Cached mode, and have locally stored .NK2 files located at

c:\documents and settings\%USERNAME%\application data\microsoft\outlook\

One particular user does not have an NK2 file.

I have performed a detect and repair, but the NK2 file is not created.

I have tried creating it manually by generating a blank text file and naming it outlook.nk2

Nothing seems to work, the NK2 file is still not created and / or populated with data.

Help!

Try recreating the outlook profile. If that doesn't work rename the old windows profile to username.old and then let windows recreate it and see if that works. If it does just copy everything from desktop, favorites, my documents from old profile to new.
