If I want to change the IP address of a NIU (command IONPC), do I have to change it in Niux (with netcnf e) or you can do it through MD?
This is because the Lan where the NIU's ethernet port was connected has changed before I could connect to the NIU, and now its ip is wrong and I need to change it(and the NIU is in another island!!). I've used the IONPC and started the card with RFBOI:BPOS, but still have no ping...
Another question about NIUs:
I'm ussing them for call logging (using the ethernet port) and I think if ethernet connection fails there's a buffer of about 2Mb of memory of call records (I'm not sure the amount). Do you know if there is a way of having a larger memory buffer? An externel HD or something.... I think it hasn't but I don't lose anything for making the question ;-)
And the last question,...I know u can see the MAC with IONPP and I think MD retrieves it automatically, but can u see this MAC directly with any command of the Niux?
Thank you very very much ....and merry Christmas to all!!!
