I have a Definity R9 with Octel voicemail. I want to restrict phones from making outgoing calls during the day time only. At night when the supervisor's are there I want to let them make calls. Is this possible. Help!!!!!!!

Yes it is. You need an "alt-frl" key. You need to put the phones in a COR where their FRL prevents outgoing calls. Ensure this particular FRL value is NOT used anywhere else (there are 7 of them to play with) Ie. The FRL in the cor is lower than that found in the route pattern the call takes. You then raise the FRL at night to a level greater or equal than that in the route pattern by use of an alt-FRL key on a set somewhere. The form is quite simple. The command is "change Alternate-FRL". Enter the original FRL in the left hand column & the fRL you wish it to change to in the right. All other FRL's not affected can remain the same in both columns.
