Night Service not ringing to a mailbox?

I am a complete rookie having inherited this phone system (MeridienM7310). I was able to change the greeting on our night service but when calling in, callers cannot leave a message after hours. How do I get it to automatically do this?

I would recommend getting a certified service technician on site to help you program and offer some training.

I'm a certified Nortel tech. and this is a freebee. (1) the greeting you changed, you need to tell the caller what to do ( like to leave a message press the * Key and which ever mailbox you want to collect the messages but that will not work unless return to AA is set to Y
The way you do that is log into voicemail unit press AA then press GRGT then press AA if N press change if already Y do nothing.
if it is set to N when the caller presses * it will disconnect them it has to be set to Y in order to use the star key, unless you are just checking your mailbox messages form outside the system there you use **
then it don't matter what AA is set to.

or you can do) from any phone that rings with all lines and has a mailbox you can use for just night time. record the night greeting there then Press Feature 4 enter the voice mail primary DN / extension number. if you don't know what it is, Press feature 985 and that will tell you what the primary DN number is for voice mail.

That would be the easies way and quickest way for a rookie to get it to work

if you cant get it to work with one of those options then i would do what ironhorse17 said suggested
