Here is what I have:
MICS 0x32 set in nigth moade in evening with only one phone in ring group (221). Aux ringer is set to yes for each line while in night mode. Aux contacts are contected to Bogen amp night input. all is well until....
Customer wants AA to answer all calls at night and give the caller the option of ringing the external ringer connected to the paging amp above or go to a specific extension. Is there any way to activate the aux relay contacts after the call has been answered by the auto attendant?
Obviously the AA will direct the call where I want it but since it's now considered an internal call I cannot get the aux contact to trip which keeps the external ringer quiet.
Let me know any suggestions. I am currently looking at sending the caller to an anlog extension, connecting night ring module (bogen) which accepts 90v and provides the necessary dry contatc closure output which then conects back to the amp. I am sure this will work but wanted to see if there was something a little less cumbersome internal to the KSU programming.
Thanks
Chris
