I am looking at a nice install and the planning meeting Nice informed me that EAS must be turned off. I cannot beleve that! I need EAS and Record some agents. Anyone have any info on Nice and EAS.
Thanks for the reply. I have another question regarding the CTI server. Nice did not specify this server. They are planning just to Y cable onto my current CDR port! Should I worry?
Is your CDR connection Serial? (RS232) In this case NICE will receive CDR-information AFTER each call has finished. This means that NICE will not receive real-time information so it won't be able to record calls selected on certain specific call-details. But in a total call-recording solutions this shouldn't be a problem...
Could you be more specific on the solution NICE offered so I can give you more information?

The system is a 8.8 using station side fixed recording. I will wire a 2 wire digital phone port to the recorder interface and continue on to the station. All stations recorded are 2 wire digital sets. The agents using EAS are not recorded at this time. However I will have agents recorded but they will continue to be the 2 wire digital set. As for the CDR, This will only be used to "search" for a call on the logger.
