The password is stored in the database. I think it is in the users table but is encrypted. I have the decryption tool so if you post the string here I'll decrypt it so you can change the password.
I don't know if this answer contravenes the site policy so I have sent an email asking. I won't post the decrypted string until I have an answer so don't red flag this post!!!
