We have Solaris 9, NetBackup 5.1mp2. I need to back up data that is mounted on a EMC (SANS) drive. I installed another NIC and it is configured on a completely different network.
I mounted the partition on one of my SUN servers (the one with the new NIC) and can read/write to it just fine. I tried to back it up but can't. I set the Allow NFS in the backup policy. Is there anything special I need to do to back up this data? Also, when I installed the new NIC, I did not add any routes or put an entry in the /etc/netmasks file. I didn't think Netbackup would care. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
gallows
